Overview
When you adopt the text, you will recieve an Instructor's Resource Disk (IRD) containing all of the following components:
- Instructor's Guide
- Electronic Test Bank
- PowerPoint Presentation
- Image Ancillary
Each of these components is described below. You will also be able to access all of the resources on
DavisPlus. These resources provide quick access to the materials on your Instructor's Resource Disk from anywhere.
Instructor's Guide
The Instructor's Guide contains procedure checklists, learning outcomes, lesson plans, suggested readings, answers and suggested responses to the exercises in Volume 1 and Volume 2, knowledge maps, care plans, care maps, and much more!
Electronic Test Bank
The electronic test bank contains hundreds of questions relating to the textbook. The questions are contained within a powerful software package developed by Brownstone Research Group. You can use this software to:
- Author your own questions
- Create customized tests (exams)
- Print out tests
- Export questions in a variety of formats including:
- HTML
- RTF
- WebCT
- Blackboard
- And many more...
PowerPoint Presentations
A pre-constructed PowerPoint presentation is available for every chapter of the text. You can use the PowerPoint presentations as they currently exist, edit them as you wish, or add your own material.
Image Ancillary
The image ancillary provides access to most of the images from the text book. You can browse for images in a particular chapter or search for an image based on the figure legend or figure number. When you find the image you are interested in, you can zoom in a particular area, add it to your "Lightbox" for review later, or save it to your computer for use in other applications.
